Frequently asked questions

Fair questions, plain answers.

The practical details that should be clear before a project begins.

How do we start?

Send a short description by email. We will recommend the smallest sensible next step.

Do I need to know which service I need?

No. Describe the situation, who it affects and what should become easier. Choosing the service is part of our work.

How is a quote decided?

We clarify the intended outcome, scope, timing and responsibilities first. You receive a written quote before work begins; this website does not pretend one homepage price fits every situation.

Will I see the work before launch?

Yes. Work moves through drafts and previews. Publishing to a live site is a separate decision and requires human approval.

Do you use AI?

We use modern tools, including AI, for research, exploration, repetitive production and verification where appropriate. A person remains accountable for decisions, quality, privacy and publication.

Who owns the finished work?

The specific quote states the terms. Our normal direction is that you retain your own accounts, content and an ownable handover rather than becoming unnecessarily dependent on Mavie.

Can Mavie maintain an existing site?

Yes. We first inspect its current condition, access, backups and deployment path, then agree a proportionate maintenance plan.

Where is Mavie based?

In Suffolk, United Kingdom. Most work is remote; an in-person meeting is arranged when it materially helps the project.
